What's next?

I've shared my information above. How do I register with the County?

For cross country and Spring track, you can register with the Country here. The County fee ($55 / $75) includes a team shirt and helps cover the overhead associated with running all of our local sports programs. Our new indoor track program is independent and does not require County registration.

As a parent, how do I keep up with everything?

When you fill out our new runner form, the parent's email should be added to our team distribution list. If you do not receive a confirmation, please let us know.

Registration on the County site is not open yet, what should I do?

Country registration may not open up until a few days into the school semester. In the meantime please join us after school in the Turf Room. All are welcome!

Where and when are practices held?

Our default meeting location is the Turf room at Henley but refer to our Training page for more information. Please note that the County website needs to address multiple programs and so may not provide Henley-specific information.

What equipment do I need?

The only gear you need to get started is a pair of running shoes in reasonable condition and a water bottle. As you progress, you'll want to be sure your shoes fit well. Sprinters may eventually be interested in spikes. The team over at Ragged Mountain does an excellent job at fitting local runners.
